Parking in front of the building is generous, and you will not have any problems finding a free spot for your car. Using the front entrance and going up the stairs, will bring you right into a warm and welcoming reception area. Let my receptionist know that you have an appointment with me, and she will hand you the initial paperwork that I ask you fill out prior to our session.

If you need an accessible entrance, please drive to the back of the building, park your car close to the middle back-entrance, ring the doorbell, and the receptionist will open and escort you to the reception area, which is conveniently located across the hall from my office.

APPOINTMENTS

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment to fill out one basic form, and reading through my policy concerning privacy practices, confidentiality, and your rights regarding personal health information.

Sessions may vary between 50 - 60 minutes. Most of my client comes in for weekly appointments, as that provides the best support, and reaching your goals with therapy will progress faster. The frequency of sessions also depends on the nature and urgency of your concerns, and your personal situation. We may therefore schedule appointments every other week, and, as your healing improves, we may agree to meet every third week or once a month.

Sometimes, in collaboration, we may also decide the length of a session to be extended, provided your insurance benefits support that, or, in case you are not utilizing any insurance benefits, that we have agreed about an extension.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel an appointment, you need to give a 24-hour notice. The time we have agreed upon is reserved especially for you, and without 24-hour notice, you will be charged the full fee for the session.

If you use your insurance benefits, please be aware that insurance companies do not reimburse missed appointments, and if you don’t give a 24-hour notice prior to a scheduled session, you are responsible paying my contracted rate for the missed appointment.

FEES

My regular fee is:
$ 125 for a 50-minute session, and
$ 140 for a 60-minute session
Payment with cash, checks, credit and debit cards are accepted.

INSURANCE  BILLING

I am a contracted provider with Group Health Cooperative, Regence Blue Shield/Blue Cross, Uniform Medical Plan, Aetna, and First Choice. If you are insured with one of these insurance companies, I will bill insurance directly, and you will pay the co-pay directly to me at the time of service.

In case I am not a contracted provider with your insurance company, and if you have out-of-network benefits, you pay the fee we agreed upon at the time of service.  I will give you a statement/receipt with all the necessary codes which, together with a claim form you order from the insurance company, you submit to the insurer for direct reimbursement to you.
